Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports at the age of 14 years old. Aspen Ladd was trained in BJJ, kickboxing boxing and wrestling before making her debut as an amateur at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and went on a 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round of all fights. In WCFC, Ladd defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen won over Silvia B beghian and Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was superior to Aspen, and beat her by unanimous vote. Cynthia's records as a professional were affected. Ladd bounced back from her defeat and defeated Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-one. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in the year 2015. Aspen signed with Invicta FC and made her debut. Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her to secure a first-round TKO. Invicta 16 also saw Aspen move from Bantamweight to her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen employed her skills in wrestling to take out McGill by TKO in the third round (elbows & punches). Aspen continued to take on Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 in a catchweight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, but Aspen won and beat Hoy with a TKO. At Invicta FC21, she was the last fight for the company. The winner was Sijara Ebanks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She outclassed Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round later in the 2nd. Ladd remained in the lead as she picked up another big win over Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd beat Evinger in the very first round and earned a reward for the performance of the night. The first big fight she fought in was in her next fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Both fighters fought an intense fight which Ladd was victorious by a majority decision. Both fighters were awarded the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in just 16 seconds which ended her streak to win. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya in the third round of UFC at ESPN 7. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. It was a unanimous decision in her favor.
